JORDAN RETURNS TO THE BEES!

We are pleased to announce the return of former Westbury, Bradford and Trowbridge Town player Jamie Jordan to The Bees, as he rejoins the club in a playing capacity, after a couple of seasons away.

‘JJ’ needs no introduction to Bees supporters, having started out in our youth system, before making his debut in 2008, winning the league in 2016, and was also our player-manager as recently as 2022. He joins us from Wessex League Premier Division side Wincanton Town, who we thank for their assistance with this transfer, and for waiving the 7 days.

Speaking to our Head of Media, JJ adds:

“It’s very strange to be back and to be honest, I didn’t think this opportunity would happen ever again, but football is a funny old game.”

“I had a desire to return closer to home after an absolutely fantastic year at Wincanton Town and as soon as the opportunity became available to rejoin my home town club, I was chomping at the bit.”

“The fantastic work Andy & the committee have done securing funding & relevant permissions to enable progress up the football pyramid is what everyone associated with the club has dreamt of since the club left Frome Road, and it goes without saying that I have unfinished business here on the pitch. I can’t wait to pull on the black and yellow stripes again!”

JJ goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s local derby against Melksham Town Reserves, which is scheduled to kick off at 2pm at the Stairway Joinery Ground.
