We are delighted to announce the signing of veteran striker Simon Millard, welcoming him to The Bees’ to bolster our attacking options.

Simon, a Radstock Town stalwart, has also previously played for Westbury United, Frome Town and Frome Town Sports, as well as a brief spell with Trowbridge back in 2016, where he scored 3 goals in 2 games.

Millard’s pace, aggression and experience is exactly what the Trowbridge front line has been missing this season, with his attributes sure to compliment his former Radstock team mate James Rustell and Dan Kovacs, when they return from injury in the new year.

Speaking to trowbridgetownfootballclub.co.uk, Ryan Baggs added:  “I’ve played with and against Millard countless times over my career, and as soon as I knew he was available, I couldn’t get him to sign quick enough.

We’ve had a few lads through from Radstock in recent years, with Josh Howe, L.J, Rusty, Bendle and now Millard, to name a few, and they’ve all proven to be exceptionally talented players – some of whom have moved back up to step 6 following great spells with us – so we’re excited to see what he can bring to the table.”

Ryan added further: “Simon is a top player and top bloke, who’s had a great career at steps 5 and 6, and Saturday showed he still has a hell of a lot to offer – having already opened his account for the season yesterday, I am excited to see him push on and add those missing goals to our performances.”
