Following confirmation from the Wiltshire Senior League, our home game against Amesbury Town on August 12th has been postponed as our opponents are unable to raise a team for this fixture.
The club will be making no further comment on this matter, and look forward to starting our campaign away at last year’s Division 1 Champions Larkhall Athletic Development on August 15th.
We do have some GOOD news to share though – we have agreed to an extra friendly on August 8th, away at Peasedown Miners Welfare of the Somerset County League – our most recent encounter being a friendly in 2021. The Bees ran out 4-3 winners in a thrilling contest, with George Bendle, Ollie Dew, Grant Gunning and Mark Robinson on the score sheet.
The game will kick off at an earlier time of 6.30pm and will be FREE entry to all.
We also still have our scheduled friendly this Saturday (5th) August, away at Frome Collegians Development, with the game to be played on the 3G at Writhlington School, Radstock – a 2pm kick off for this fixture.
Up The Bees!
