RAMSEY DEPARTS FOR PASTURES NEW…

Trowbridge Town FC can announce that goalkeeper Kierran Ramsey has departed for pastures new, joining Wiltshire Senior League Divison 1 title chasers Park United on a permanent deal.

Rambo, part of our 2022-2023 title winning squad, re-joined The Bees mid-way through last season, initially covering for Cam Miller’s injury, going on to feature 7 times and notching up 3 clean sheets.

Featuring 11 times so far this season, Kierran departs with the very best wishes from all at the club, and we would like to put on record our thanks to him for coming in and doing an excellent job. A brilliant, lively and funny person off the pitch, Kierran carried those personal qualities over onto the pitch, becoming a fan-favourite in a short space of time, and he will no doubt carry that over to his new team.

Thank you for the memories, Rambo – you will always be welcome back at Woodmarsh!

Looking ahead to the rest of the season, our goalkeeping lineup will consist of Callum Hotine, signed permanently in November from Warminster Town, who is currently out with a groin injury picked up against Kingsdown Lions, and Dan Blackwell, who is currently filling in between the sticks whilst Callum recovers.

Dan featured in our pre-season friendly against Park United, keeping a clean sheet, and against Corsham Town in mid-week, making some excellent saves against higher opposition.
