We are delighted to announce the appointment of Wayne Thorne as the new Trowbridge Town First Team Manager.

Wayne, a former Swindon Town Youth, Gloucester City and Chippenham Town player, brings a raft of experience and success with him, holding managerial roles at clubs including Larkhall Athletic, Melksham Town and most recently, Wells City, to name a few.

He was in charge of the Larkhall Athletic side which secured promotion to The Southern League.

Wayne is fully onboard with the aspirations and long-term project at Trowbridge Town, as we aim for a return to FA Step 6 football, and is already excited to meet the players and get stuck into the role.Wayne will take charge of his first game next Saturday, at home to Malmesbury Victoria Development, with an interim management team leading the team over the next two fixtures.
