The club are delighted to announce that on Thursday evening our application for a Wiltshire Council Area Board Grant was approved and that, subject to us satisfying the conditions which are attached to this award, we will shortly receive £5000 towards our new floodlights.
The club receives no Football Association grants whilst playing at our current level and financial support to the club over the next three months will be crucial to us achieving our goal for Woodmarsh, to achieve a Step 6 ground grading to enable us to progress up the pyramid.
The floodlights are also important to us being able to host our Vets Team (who currently play in Frome) and a newly formed U18s team to play in the Wiltshire Youth Floodlight League at the earliest opportunity.
