Trowbridge Town FC would like to announce a couple of changes to our squad over the past week.

We would like to announce that Josh Howe has left the club in order to play football at a higher level for Bradford Town. We would like to place on record our thanks to “Marine” for his service to the club, and wish him well for the future. His presence at the back will be missed and – whilst we were hoping for him to stay, having just recovered from an injury, Josh has made the decision to move on.

We are, however, DELIGHTED to announce that we have secured a replacement for Josh – his name is also Josh. Josh Howlett, to be precise.

Josh Howlett has elected to come the other way, rejoining The Bees from Bradford Town for the remainder of this season. Josh is close to his 100th appearance for The Bees, and we are excited to see what he can do having spent the past 9 months plying his trade in the Hellenic and Western League’s respectively.

Finding a replacement for someone of the size, strength and quality of Josh Howe was always going to be difficult, but in Josh Howlett, the club feel that they have a more than capable replacement to partner up with one of Dom Kilbane, Alfie Francis or Dan Plank at the back.
