Trowbridge Town Chairman Andy Meaden would like to issue an update to supporters regarding our current planning application for floodlights and dugouts at Woodmarsh:

“As you may already be aware, the club already has the full support of Trowbridge Town Council in our current planning application.We are pleased to announce that, following on from a presentation made on Monday evening by myself and club Secretary Kathy Crisp to the members of North Bradley Parish Council at their monthly meeting, they have given the club their full and unanimous support on the planning application.

This has been confirmed on both the comments section on the planning portal, and from a conversation between myself and Parish Clerk this afternoon, and with their kind permission, we are now in a position to say that both Trowbridge Town Council, and North Bradley Parish Council, are fully behind the developments that the club are looking to pursue in search of a higher level of football, and a future for the next generation of youth coming through the club.

There are still a couple of matters we need to address in the next 7 days, but I am extremely hopeful that the club will soon be able to secure permission from Wiltshire Council to carry out the work required during the summer months to get Woodmarsh up to Step 6 (Western/Hellenic League) standard, ready for a promotion push in season 2024/25.

We would like to thank North Bradley Parish Council for taking the time to listen to us, and for giving us their support towards our application.
